Restaurant Opening Times
We are always delighted to welcome both our residents and non residents to dine with us at our Restaurant in Windermere. 

We have availability for B&B only bookings from 27th January 2012.
The Restaurant will re-open for Dinner reservations from Friday, 10th February 2012; from which date we will open every Friday, Saturday & Sunday evening for Dinner (closed Monday to Thursday; Breakfast is served as normal when The Restaurant is closed in the evenings), with the exception of the following:-

February Half Term - Tuesday, 14th February for St. Valentine's Dinner & Wednesday, 15th and Thursday 16th February.
March Dining Week - Wednesday, 21st and Thursday, 22nd March.
Easter Holidays - Wednesday, 4th & Thursday, 5th April.
Jubilee Week - Tuesday, 5th for our Jubilee Dinner and Wednesday, 6th & Thursday 7th June.
September Dining Weeks - Wednesday, 6th & Thursday, 7th and Wednesday, 13th and Thursday, 14th September.
October Half Term (Scotland) - Wednesday, 17th & Thursday, 18th October.
October Half Term (England) - Wednesday, 31st October & Thursday, 1st November.
December - TBC

The Restaurant will also be closed for Dinner on the following additional dates:-
Summer - Friday 15th, Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th June and Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th June.

About The Restaurant
A perfect balance between contemporary style and Victorian elegance; smart leather chairs, cloth-less tables, linen napkins & white china build an informal yet stylish blend. Candlelight in the evening creates an intimate feel. We offer two rooms for dining; we use both for Breakfast and Dinner; the larger ‘Pink’ room overlooks our garden, whilst the smaller ‘Red’ room is also perfect for private dining.  Menus feature confidently executed contemporary British cooking.  Dishes focus on great flavours and showcase carefully selected seasonal & regional ingredients without over complication.

Service is relaxed & informal, yet with meticulous attention to detail; choose your preferred dining time and your table will be yours for the evening.

Good to know about our Restaurant in Windermere…

  • Our Restaurant is open on Friday, Saturday & Sunday only.  The Restaurant will be closed from Monday to Thursday evening; our Reception & Bar close at 7.00pm on these days, with last orders at 6.30pm. 
  • Please see above for additional Seasonal opening dates for our Restaurant in Windermere.
  • Our dress code is smart/casual.
  • We welcome small private dining parties in our smaller restaurant by prior arrangement. 
  • We regret we are unable to accommodate weddings or children under 12 years; a positive for those seeking all that our secret haven has to offer!
  • Breakfast is served between 8.45am and 9.45am.
