The Hideaway Restaurant, Windermere

The Restaurant - also open to non residents - provides stylish dining in an informal atmosphere. Two light and airy rooms, both overlooking the peaceful garden, create an intimate ambiance in which to relax & enjoy. Attentive, yet unstuffy service awaits, provided by Lisa & our friendly team, whilst the kitchen bustles, ready to delight.

Richard heads up the kitchen team himself; working with a hands on approach & an uncomplicated cooking style, he believes in serving the very best, simple food; allowing the delicious natural flavours to speak for themselves.

With the use of fresh, local, seasonal ingredients, the menu is an eclectic mix of traditional local dishes, modern British food, & just a hint of global influences; whatever the dish, Richard's aim is to present delicious food with a creative twist.

The well stocked bar offers a selection of bottled beers & local bitters, favourite tipples and night caps. Our wine list is interesting & varied and is certain to meet all tastes.
