The Hideaway at Windermere is personally run by owners Richard & Lisa Gornall; since 2004, they have been committed to creating an experience for their guests which goes beyond 'a place to stay'. Together with their friendly team, they are dedicated to achieving their simple aims of providing restful rooms, delicious food & exceptional service.

Built in 1890, the house boasts many original Victorian features, including ornate, stone window frames and a geometric tiled hallway. Ever evolving, we blend traditional styles with contemporary influences to create a relaxed, warm & welcoming atmosphere.
